Hospice Care

Our Hospice care program focuses on addressing the many needs of patients and their families living with life-threatening illness.  Comprehensive care is provided by an Interdisciplinary Team of healthcare professionals working closely with your primary physician to support your choice to live each day as fully and comfortably as possible.   We concentrate on controlling symptoms of the illness, relieving pain -- whether it be physical, emotional, social, spiritual -- and assisting in achieving the goals deemed most important by you and your family.

Palliative Care

Palliative Care

Palliative care is specialized medical care that strives to provide the highest quality holistic care that is patient centered and family focused, and targets quality of life issues.  Symptom management is provided by an integrated multidisciplinary team with the goal of relieving suffering whether physical, spiritual or psychosocial.

Grief Support

Grief Support

The Bereavement Care Program is open to anyone grieving the death of a loved one no matter when or where the death occurred. Grief is a very individual process that is greatly influenced by culture and community background. Because of all these differences, Kaua’I Hospice provides many kinds of support; including one-to-one support and bereavement care groups.
